The message explores how Jesus’ mission serves as our north star in a hazardous world. Making Jesus’ mission our north star empowers us to overcome hazards and lead more people home to Jesus. Hazards are normal—not detours but the pathway to deeper alignment. Fiver common hazards are exposed: complacency and drift, distractions from worries and wealth, difficulties of trials and temptations, spiritual attack, and prideful isolation. Then six practical strategies for facing hazards: anchoring in the Word, wearing the full armor of God, dwelling with Jesus and depending on the Spirit, engaging mission-focused community, fixing eyes on Jesus and God’s big story, and continually centering life on the mission through one daily compass question. The message challenges every believer to step into God's big story and lead others home.
