The message explores the grip of greed and worry in everyday life. A simple “grab and go” family story and an ancient inheritance dispute reveal how easily stuff matters too much — straining relationships, breeding anxiety, and pulling hearts from God. Jesus refuses to arbitrate the fight over possessions and instead tells the parable of the rich fool whose bigger barns couldn’t save him. He then turns to His disciples with practical hope: ravens are fed and lilies are clothed, so why worry? The powerful solution is simple yet life-changing: Greed loses its pull and worry loses its grip when God’s kingdom project becomes your priority. God’s kingdom brings His values of justice, generosity, trust, peace, and love into our world. Your Father knows exactly what you need and generously provides. How will this truth shape your week?
